Jarrahdale, West Aust being encounter — September 19, 1992

At noon on 19 September 1992, a man and his son were reportedly collecting firewood near Jarrahdale, Western Australia, when they noticed a very large black figure close by. Keith Basterfield's catalogue gives its estimated height as 3.5 metres and describes it as jet black and without arms. The only contrasting features recorded are two white patches, one on either side of the head, where eyes might have been. The recovered account does not describe a mouth, speech, threatening action, a means of arrival or a departure sequence. It also does not establish the son's age, the observation's duration or how the height was measured. Those omissions limit any detailed anatomical reconstruction. Basterfield attributes the report to UFORUM. The catalogue's wording matters because the imported shorthand has been read as three white patches; the fuller entry specifies two. No aircraft or spacecraft accompanies the figure in the source. This is therefore preserved as a brief ground-level entity report, with the witnesses' interpretation and the figure's identity unresolved. The plate retains the unusual armless silhouette and paired white markings while treating the woodland arrangement and personal likenesses as illustrative.
