Case description
On March 20, 1993, according to the commonly catalogued date, Ziporet or Tsiporet Carmel noticed unusual light around her Kadima home. She went outside and described a silvery, boxlike or silo-like object in a nearby field. Rosales’s account, citing Barry Chamish, adds eighteen luminous square windows, five upward beams and an apparent second section that increased the object’s size.
A very tall humanlike figure stood nearby, wearing metallic overalls and broad, beekeeper-like headgear with a veil concealing its face. Dogs reportedly reacted strongly. Carmel described a brief observation and a mentally heard response when she asked to see the figure’s face, followed by a compulsion to return indoors. No uncovered alien face belongs in this reconstruction.
Field circles and silvery fragments later became central to the wider Kadima story. Keith Basterfield’s material-sample catalogue records a reported silicon identification but gives no analytical method. Such a composition claim does not establish an extraterrestrial source or prove that the material came from a craft.
The sources disagree on details: the imported time is 6:20 a.m., Rosales gives 6:30, and Chamish’s wider narrative sometimes dates the episode to April 20. Chamish also acknowledged a local prankster and disputes over the silicon. Later regional summaries report hoaxed evidence within the wave; that is not a documented confession resolving Carmel’s whole account.
