Case description
A brief report from Île de Groix, Morbihan, is dated 7 September 1993. Albert Rosales’s catalogue gives approximately 8:50 p.m.; NICAP’s corresponding chronology leaves the time unspecified. Several witnesses reportedly noticed lights and a delta-shaped object hovering low above a field. The account is more specific about the relationship between the aerial and ground phenomena than about either one’s construction.
Directly underneath, several small, thin, shadowy forms appeared to glide just above the ground. No faces, clothing, limbs, voices, gestures or interactions are described. The narrative supplies no landing, boarding sequence or explanation for how the forms moved. A description of shadows is therefore the appropriate visual limit; it does not establish familiar Grey anatomy or a group of identifiable biological occupants.
Both catalogue renderings cite Lumières dans la Nuit 323. The accessible account provides no names, exact field, duration, detailed light arrangement or independent investigation. Hatch’s compressed wording can sound like a formation of separate triangular or boxlike vehicles, whereas the fuller narrative describes lights and one delta-shaped craft. That fuller wording is retained here while preserving the uncertainty over what the witnesses actually distinguished.
