The Siracusa incident of 7 November 1993 became one of the Italian reports of a supposed flying humanoid. In their later CISU Sicilia review, Antonio Blanco and Salvatore Foresta describe three related witnesses observing from the windows and balconies of their respective homes after alerting one another by telephone. Some used binoculars. Their review cites local newspaper coverage and the subsequent CISU investigation, including an August 1994 report.
For approximately fifteen minutes, the witnesses reportedly watched a little figure about 1.2 metres tall levitating and swaying above a building site. In the CISU account it was green, with a yellow head covering and silver footwear. Eventually it rose slowly and moved away until it disappeared into the sky. A separate later compilation names Maria Lo Bello and her son Mimino Cassia, places the observation near Viale Teracati around 09:00, and gives a somewhat different account of the final ascent. These details remain reported testimony, not a measured flight record.
The Hatch ledger's silver suit and nearby octagonal object do not appear in the recovered CISU description. They are therefore retained as source differences rather than silently combined into a new craft-and-occupant narrative. CISU notes that media sensationalism damaged the witnesses' willingness to cooperate, while treating their apparent sincerity separately from an extraterrestrial interpretation. No separate craft is described in that fuller account. The March 1994 Siracusa flying-figure report is another event and is not used to supply missing details here.
Retelling of the November 7, 1993 Siracusa construction-site figure. This version claims at least ten observers and possible pictures; the corrected CISU account establishes three related witnesses, and no verified image is supplied. No separate craft is reported.
