Case description

Sara Cuevas’s disputed Metepec video belongs to the night of September15–16,1994,rather than the noon setting in the imported digest. Investigator Luis Ruiz Noguez describes visiting the cornfield behind her home near Toluca with other researchers later that September. Accounts involved Sara and her sister Erika, but their presence does not establish that both independently saw the alleged being. Sara claimed a short figure in loose reddish clothing, boots and gloves, with a greyish face, small head projections and a mallet-like object. She also described a larger bright craft with smaller lights nearby. The short video did not capture the claimed spacecraft. Versions differ about whether the object landed and about the sequence from driving home to filming from the house. Ruiz Noguez reported contradictory testimony and argued that the episode was staged; the Academy for Future Science preserves a more sympathetic interpretation while acknowledging fraud allegations and the missing craft footage. Neither position turns the film into verified biological evidence. The plate explicitly combines the filming scene with unfilmed craft claims. Appearances and arrangement are illustrative, and this1994case must not be confused with the unrelated small-body story publicized at Metepec years later.
