BUFORA’s published interview places this observation near Brancepeth on the A690 at about 07:10 on 2 January 1995. The witness, a 39-year-old woman using the pseudonym Diana Logan, was driving to work when she noticed a small figure moving along the grass verge. She deliberately slowed almost to a standstill and looked through the passenger window from approximately two yards away. She described a slim figure slightly over two feet tall, uniformly dull mustard-yellow. Its head was oval with a slightly pointed chin; in profile she noticed a conspicuous dark almond-shaped eye. Its arms and legs moved in a slow, puppet-like manner. It continued sideways up the verge toward a fence without looking at her. She drove a little farther, considered reversing, then continued to work. Her sister contacted BUFORA on 4 January, and investigators interviewed her and visited the site. Family members supported her sincerity but had not witnessed the event. This fuller account differs from the short catalogue’s midnight timing, bright eyes and road-crossing summary. It describes no involuntary engine failure, craft or contact. The revised plate follows the interview’s early-morning verge observation rather than combining incompatible details.
