A young girl in Marion, New York, reportedly noticed bright light streaming through her bedroom window at about 3:30 a.m. on 9 January 1995. Looking outside, she said she saw a humanoid approximately four feet tall and unusual bright lights in the yard. The original NUFORC entry gives a duration of three minutes. NUFORC report 314 records the report as received on 7 March 1995 and later posted in its database. It contains only the brief summary. It does not identify the girl, provide her age or describe the figure's face, clothing, movement or departure. The field for an object's shape is blank. Consequently, classification as a probe or a grey is more specific than the accessible witness account supports. Albert Rosales's later compilation dates what appears to be the same report to 8 January. The primary NUFORC listing supports 9 January, so the discrepancy remains explicit. No conversation, bodily contact, missing time or removal from the house is described.
