Case description
Witnesses at the Col de Vence reportedly watched a large sphere around 1 a.m. on 5 April 1995. The compact account estimates its distance at three hundred metres. It emitted a bright blue beam, and several shadowy forms appeared to move inside it. No contact or approach to the object is described.
Albert Rosales's catalogue traces the report to Banque OVNI number 95, matching Hatch's source reference. Neither accessible summary names the witnesses, specifies their number, gives a duration or describes a face, suit or measured body shape. Moving shadows are the extent of the occupant claim. They cannot establish whether the perceived forms were people, machinery, reflections or another effect.
The Col de Vence has a much wider history of reported lights and photographic anomalies. The site's accounts of March 1994 sightings and March 1995 photographs concern different episodes and should not supply missing details for this one. The record does not provide a photograph establishing the April sphere's occupants. The illustration retains the spherical glow, blue beam and indistinct interior shadows. Two anonymous adults and several suggested silhouettes represent unspecified counts, while the exact terrain and positions remain contextual. No detailed grey aliens or conventional saucer are added.
