Case description
The imported Hatch record places a large group sighting near Gravois Mills, Missouri, late on July 9, 1995. It describes more than twelve observers, a huge triangular object accompanied by four discs, and as many as fifty unusual figures on the ground. The corresponding original National UFO Reporting Center entries use nearby Versailles as the location and give eleven p.m., rather than the catalogue’s eleven-fifty time.
NUFORC record 605 says multiple witnesses saw a large triangular craft surrounded by four disc-shaped objects, with up to fifty bizarre creatures beneath. Record 604 identifies a United States Air Force officer as relaying a report of five unusual craft above a field and strange creatures below. Both entries give a five-hour duration and a July 11 reporting date. The officer’s role is a relay, not a documented firsthand observation, and the two entries should not automatically be counted as independent groups of witnesses.
The original public summaries are extremely brief. They provide no dependable anatomical description of the figures, named witness interviews, detailed sequence of movements, or substantiation of the later catalogue’s physiological and missing-time tags. The record supports preserving an unusual multi-object and figure allegation, with those limits stated plainly. Its illustration shows the reported craft arrangement and distant figures without inventing faces, clothing or an alien species that the source never described.
