Case description
The Seattle entry is dated 27 February 1996 and concerns a woman's report of a very short, dwarf-like figure in her bedroom late at night. The accessible Rosales catalogue synopsis attributes the report to the National UFO Reporting Center. It gives no name, address, measured height or detailed appearance, so the case cannot responsibly be expanded into a familiar large-eyed alien encounter.
The imported digest says it was the second such episode in three years. The longer recoverable synopsis says only that the woman was involved in other encounters; it does not supply those dates or describe a connection among them. For this particular event, neither source provides an arrival, a departure, conversation, touch, vehicle, missing-time sequence or physical trace. The original NUFORC statement was not recovered in the available search, and no independent observer was identified.
The bedroom setting is part of the report, but the surviving text does not establish whether she had just awakened, was immobilized or was fully alert throughout. A specific sleep explanation would therefore be an inference, just as an extraterrestrial interpretation would be. The illustration is deliberately contextual: a fully clothed woman and a small, shadowed humanlike outline in an ordinary bedroom. Its face, garments and anatomy remain indistinct, and no craft or medical scene is introduced. The lack of detail remains an explicit limit of this record.
