Neubiburg Germany reported disc saucer observation — October 11, 1951

Disappeared like a light went out. An unusual object was sighted at Neubiburg, Germany on 11 October 1951 between 2000 and 2100 hours by several German Army personnel. The object was observed to be stationary for approximately one minute, then to move rapidly in a straight line, stop, and then move slowly in an erratic course, stopping and starting several times. The sighting was reported to the Air Force authorities, and investigation was ordered. The object was motionless and appeared somewhat egg-shaped, and was illuminated brilliantly as if light was being emitted from within. It remained in one spot or moved at an extremely slow rate for about 10 to 15 minutes, then disappeared from view.
