34degrees N 12degrees W radar-visual unidentified-object report — August 24, 1952

It is approximately 23:02 on 24 August 1952 while plotting a C-47 N/C on a training flight from Tanger to Casablanca, when through the cockpit windows, the navigator sighted a luminous trail on the surface of the sea. The trail was observed for approximately 2-3 minutes before it faded from view. Aircraft continued to destination and reported incident to USAF Liaison Officer.
