The text in the document is as follows: PROJECT 10073 RECORD CASE 30 DEC 52 DATE OF SIGHTING: 30/12/51 TIME: 1955 HRS LOCATION: HOKKAIDO ISLAND, JAPAN ATTIC DOCUMENT 11519/ UNCLASSIFIED The report states that the object observed was not rotating, appeared to be spherical, varied in color from red to white, and was seen by 6 crew members of a BTSC aircraft. It was observed for approximately 5-10 minutes before disappearing. The document also mentions concurrent sightings of other unidentified lights in the area, and notes that the planet Venus in the night sky may explain some of the phenomena observed. When the sighting was made, he went to an underground command post and immediately reported it. The report states that the object was observed near a known radar site and that it exhibited characteristics not common to conventional aircraft. In all cases except the reported ground sighting, the object was observed at altitudes between 5,000 and 80,000 feet. The observations where planets assume approximately the same relative position have in the past been mistaken for aircraft when observed under certain conditions." AS 29 MARCH 1952, VENUS WAS LOCATED AT 12,000/1300. THIS WOULD EXPLAIN ANY NOTICEABLE CHANGE IN POSITION AND ALTITUDE OF THE OBSERVED OBJECTS.
