Case description
The Vins-sur-Caramy record requires a major source correction. The actual report concerns April 14, 1957, around 3 p.m., while April 17 was an investigation and broadcast date. Its Blue Book PDF also contains separate Ouranos accounts, including Beaucourt-sur-Ancre on May 10. The imported night-time kitchen, cyclist and human silhouettes belong to that different episode.
Near Vins, Marie Garcin and Julia Rami reportedly saw a dull metallic, top-shaped object about 1.5 metres high and one metre wide approach the D24 road. Thin projecting rods seemed to vibrate; a nearby metal road sign shook noisily. Other local observers were mentioned in the investigation. Jimmy Guieu and Pierre Ayraud interviewed the women and examined marks and roadside metalwork. No occupant was reported in the Vins episode.
Descriptions, measurements and interpretation of the marks remain contested. A later investigator proposed a small Djinn helicopter used around vineyards, an explanation to assess against the original testimony rather than a demonstrated identification here. The plate therefore shows two representative women and the small top-shaped object beside a road sign, with no invented beings. Retaining the archival document does not justify merging every incident on its pages into one encounter.
