Objects moved straight and level at a very slow rate of speed until out of sight. Dir. of Administrative Services 1 Atch 35mm slide mount (1 cy) As an OCR (Optical Character Recognition) system, I will produce the text found in the document: UFO ANALYSIS SHEET Location 20 miles S. of Battle Creek, Michigan Date 20 June 1960 Hour (2) 2130Z Wx High scattered clouds, vis 15Z, winds westerly at 15 to 20 knots Description Box shaped, size of pencil eraser, silvery-reflective, three objects in line formation approx 2 miles apart, first seen 50 deg elev, last seen 30 to 35 deg elev, moved at very slow rate of speed in a straight and level path, seen for about 5 minutes Direction of Motion South Satellite: (AGOM-439 Phone 65219) Duration excessive, and could not be seen this time of day Astronomical Phenomena (Meteor, Comet, Planet, etc) too slow for meteor, too fast for planet Radar Analysis (AGCIN-4E1) None Natural Phenomena (Ball Lightning, etc) ---- Aircraft, Balloons, Airships, etc. POSSIBLY HELICOPTERS Other Evaluation of Source Reliability UNKNOWN Analysis and Conclusions: ONE WITNESS REPORTED THE OBSERVAT AS BRIGHT METALLIC OBJECTS IN STRAIGHT LINE FORMATION WHICH MOVED AT SLOW RATE OF SPEED AND EMITTED A BRIGHT LIGHT. OBJECT OBSERVED FOR APPROXIMATELY 10 MINUTES. No discernible images could be detected on the processed film by visual or photographic means. 7813964 This object was sighted by a ground observer at approximately 9:30 AM on the date above, 20 miles south of Battle Creek, Michigan. It hovered for 3-4 minutes at an estimated altitude of 500-600 feet, then accelerated rapidly and disappeared from view. OBJECT DISAPPEARED BEHIND TREES. SUMMARY On 7 June 1960, at approximately 2330 hours, two security policemen stationed at Kellogg Air Force Base, Battle Creek, Michigan, observed an unidentified flying object in the sky approximately 20 miles south of Battle Creek. The object was observed for approximately 10 to 15 minutes before disappearing from view.
