TURNER Colonel, USAF Chief, Photo Analysis Section, AFSC Extracted text from the document: Enclosed you will find the report on the sighting of the unidentified flying object over Tupper Lake, N.Y. on October 14, 1963. According to the report, the object was observed from approximately 7:50 p.m. to 8:05 p.m. on the date mentioned. It was described as a bright light about the size of a car headlight, and was observed maneuvering in the sky for several minutes. The report states that the object then accelerated and disappeared from view. It passed directly over my car, which was stopped at the time, at an estimated altitude of 1,000 to 1,500 feet. It was visible for approximately 30 seconds before it disappeared into the distance. There's a rule in the magazine that we can't print anything that might be interpreted as a flying saucer, but we can't say exactly what it is. Unusual cloud formations are sometimes mistaken for flying objects. AS SOON AS THEY HAVE COMPLETED THEIR ANALYSIS, THE PHOTOGRAPH WILL BE RETURNED TO YOU.
