Case description

The original Beverly Shores file contains a woman’s handwritten letters about March 30, 1966, from approximately 5:20 to 6:30 a.m. She first thought she saw an unusual star near trees east of her home. The Blue Book summary classified the observation as Venus, low in the east and rising, with no photographs or physical evidence recorded. In her own description, the light appeared to change position, descend close to the window and rise again. She likened it to a large round silvery light with long illuminated points. She explicitly wrote that she could not see anyone operating it. The imported claim that three men stood outside is not supported by the recovered pages and should not be carried into the illustration. An April 25 letter also discusses a separate April 17 observation and speculative links to newspaper reports from Ohio. Other alleged experiences of a friend are hearsay, not additional witnesses to March 30. The plate follows the primary woman at her window and an unresolved bright round light, labelled with the Air Force’s astronomical interpretation. It does not turn her apparent distance estimates into measured landings or add occupants that the original letter says she did not see.
