Case description
A brief report places an apparent landing at Bagley, Minnesota, on April 22, 1966, around 3:30 p.m. Several people allegedly saw an object at low altitude. The version later entered in Vallée’s catalogue says four small occupants emerged and seemed to make repairs before the object departed.
Some contemporary retellings add a flight along the main street and an avoided school bus. The available short summaries do not identify the observers, describe the beings’ faces or clothing, or document what was being repaired. Those omissions prevent a faithful detailed alien portrait. The imported record also appends unrelated July 1965 Arlington radar material; that contamination is excluded from this encounter narrative.
Bagley appears in later Minnesota UFO histories, but the surviving catalogue wording remains much thinner than a full witness interview or field report. No recovered component or authenticated photograph is supplied here. The illustration uses four small unresolved figures near a low object with representative townspeople watching, clearly marking the limited account and treating craft design, observer likenesses and repair tools as artistic.
