This Trinity Bay entry overlaps other archive copies of the Little Hearts Ease fireball report, rather than establishing another encounter. The primary RCMP packet dates it to August 14, 1970, around 8:45 p.m. The Norris family described the phenomenon above hills near the Newfoundland community; follow-up material also records a corroborating report from St. Jones Within. The object was described as blood-red with a lighter-coloured tail, apparently several feet across, illuminating surrounding hills and casting shadows. Witness estimates of dimensions, altitude and duration are not measurements. The packet mentions a rushing or burning sound, a wobbling or fragmenting appearance and apparent movement toward the harbour. Crucially, the original wording says there were no protruding legs or arms: degraded OCR must not turn that negative description into beings. Police searched by boat without locating wreckage, and checks with Gander produced no corresponding overdue or missing aircraft. The closing assessment called it a genuine fireball sighting. The plate follows that documented interpretation, showing a representative family and red luminous trail over contextual coast and hills. It contains no constructed craft or occupants. Family composition, exact viewpoint and landscape details remain illustrative, and duplicate archive records are not independent sightings.
