Case description
The imported Invermere record draws from a regional collection of reports received on 10 August 1972. One Golden detachment telex places an observation at 14:35 Mountain Daylight Time near Moberly, approximately one mile west, and also mentions reports from Invermere. It describes a clear sky with scattered clouds and a tourist watching from the highway. It does not supply a separate detailed Invermere witness interview.
The Golden-area object was described as blue, wingless and accompanied by a fiery tail, moving west faster than an ordinary jet. It remained visible for approximately two seconds. The comparison to an aircraft without wings was an appearance description, not evidence of a manufactured vehicle. Another message in the packet describes a silver cylindrical form with red fire behind it near Creston; that is a different local report and must not be silently reassigned to Invermere.
These messages belong to the wider daylight-fireball reporting period across western Canada. NASA documents the exceptional earthgrazing meteor of that date, although the brief local estimates alone do not reconstruct its path or physical dimensions. No occupants, landing or close interaction appear in the recovered pages. The plate selects the documented Golden highway observation as a labelled regional context, using a luminous blue head and tail rather than inventing an Invermere witness, aircraft hardware or an alien crew.
