Case description
The Little Hearts Ease file concerns a luminous object seen over Trinity Bay, Newfoundland, on the evening of 14 August 1970. The initial witnesses included Ernest Norris and his family; police later found corroboration from the local postmistress and her husband, identified in the fuller file as Mr. and Mrs. William Robbins, at nearby St. Jones. The matching descriptions and times were treated as supporting the same event.
Witnesses reported a blood-red object with a lighter-coloured tail and a rushing sound. It illuminated the coastal settlement, travelled northeast and appeared to wobble, shed fragments and descend toward the harbour mouth. Norris initially wondered whether a burning plane had fallen. The RCMP response included an immediate visit, a boat search of the reported impact area and an aviation check through Gander. No debris was found and no aircraft was listed missing or overdue.
A later police continuation states that further inquiries produced nothing to suggest anything other than a fireball. The record's presence in a UFO collection does not convert the event into an entity encounter. Its source pages overlap another archival version titled with the abbreviation T. Bay; both catalogue identifiers are retained, but their shared origin is made explicit. The plate presents the corroborating couple's viewpoint rather than inventing another craft or occurrence.
