On August 11, 1996, between 12:30 and 1:30 a.m., a man and his wife watched a circular luminous phenomenon move slowly from right to left. They observed it for about forty-five minutes and went to bed while it remained visible. Investigators established that their viewing direction corresponded to a nightclub using an advertising laser projector. Its illumination of clouds was considered the probable explanation.
