MEILLERAYE DE BRETAGNE (44) 1997

On 3 May 1997 at about 01:30, a couple returning from work saw a point in the sky brighter than the stars. It approached at high speed, and they could then distinguish a large, roughly round luminous mass. It passed just above the housing estate and disappeared towards the south. They heard a sound of displaced air as it passed. The observation lasted approximately 5 minutes in total. No explanation was found.
