MAURENS (24) 27.08.1997

On 27 August 1997 at about 23:00, a witness in Maurens saw 6 balls of light rotating in the sky. After a while, 5 disappeared, leaving one large milky sphere, described as 3 times the apparent size of the setting Sun. He watched that sphere for about half an hour and called his mother, who saw only the large white sphere. Although the investigation did not demonstrate it, the description suggests effects produced on clouds by advertising laser projectors.
