SAINT-VIT (25) 1998

On 17 January 1998, 3 passengers in one car reportedly saw a ‘shiny framework’ 20–25 m across, with black stripes and several yellow and red lights. A newspaper reported it, but the witnesses could not be identified or interviewed. After that article, a fourth witness reported a similar event on 21 January at about 18:30. From her car, she watched a luminous disc about twice the Moon’s apparent size for roughly 20 seconds. These brief and somewhat contradictory accounts do not allow a serious analysis of the phenomena.
