On 4 March 2000 at about 23:15, a couple near their home at La Garnache saw a round yellow-white form pass twice, 10 minutes apart, at a reported height of 15 or 20 m. At the end of its path, a faint sound was heard along with a green light. The source also states that no sound was detected, contradicting that detail. GEIPAN considers a rotating beacon possible, but the available information is insufficient for a serious analysis.
