SAINT-JULIEN-LE-FAUCON (14) 06.08.2000

An account submitted on 23 October 2009 concerned an earlier observation. Three people reportedly saw several points of light pass silently in single file at high altitude at about 23:00 during summer 2008, although the year remained uncertain. The catalogue title instead gives 6 August 2000. The lights varied in brightness and crossed the sky very rapidly, probably south to north, on a slightly elliptical path before fading at the horizon. No other accounts were collected. Because precise information, particularly the date, was missing and the observation was old, an investigation was difficult or impossible.
