At 5:35 a.m. on April 30, 2001, the crew of a DC-10 bound for Bordeaux saw a green light moving on a descending trajectory for three or four seconds. They estimated its distance at more than ten kilometres. The archived GEIPAN summary considered atmospheric reentry the probable explanation. It records no occupant or physical effect.
