LESCAR (64) 2004

On 20 May 2004 at about 00:30, a witness and spouse on their terrace in Lescar (64) saw a silent shape moving at very high speed. Its front was green, with a powerful light beam behind. It slowed; the beam went out, leaving only green light before complete disappearance. They reported a 3–4-minute observation. After a newspaper article, another reporting witness, an amateur astronomer, came forward. He saw the phenomenon for several tens of seconds and interpreted it as an atmospheric entry. That hypothesis was retained, and the case was classified B.
