On 25 December 2004, the gendarmerie received a call reporting a hole in the parking area of a holiday home. The owner suspected a meteorite. Officers immediately visited, joined by firefighters to test the ground. The hole was about 15 cm in diameter and 20–25 cm deep. Under its agreement with the gendarmerie, GEIPAN received the official report. However, the owner had seen no UAP, and no object such as a meteorite was found in the hole. Formerly classified B as a probable meteorite fall, the case falls outside GEIPAN's scope because there was neither a UAP sighting nor a recovered object. It is now classified C: insufficient information.
