AVIGNON (84) 28.06.2005

On the night of 27–28 June 2005 at about 04:15, a witness saw a dark boomerang-like shape pass fairly slowly, without visible lights and in total silence. The sighting lasted about 8–10 seconds. He reported that patches of fog and a fairly strong breeze appeared 5–10 minutes later. No other accounts were collected. An aircraft could not be ruled out, but no other hypothesis could be substantiated because information was insufficient.
