A brief email account describes repeated sightings of roughly round blue lights in the cloudy Paris-region sky. The witness supplied photographs, but no other account was collected. The photograph strongly suggests ground lighting reflected onto clouds. Although the exact observer location and viewing direction are unknown, the Paris region has many illuminated monuments, town halls and nighttime venues with powerful upward spotlights. GEIPAN considers this a very probable misidentification of lighting on clouds. Very low strangeness does not justify further investigation. The case is classified B: probable nighttime lighting on cloud cover.
