SAINT-NAZAIRE (44) 05.02.2009

On 5 February 2009 at about 19:00, 2 people in a car saw blue, white and red lights moving very slowly above a four-lane road at an estimated height of 30 or 40 m. The narrative describes 3 lights forming a hovering triangle, whereas the summary says each color formed a triangle. GEIPAN received only 1 emailed account. The observation was made through the windshield of a moving car in torrential rain, so reflections could not be ruled out. The witness did not answer GEIPAN's requests for further information, particularly an official report. An investigation was therefore impossible because information was insufficient.
