MONACO (MC.MC) 30.11.2009

On 30 November 2009 from 08:30 to 10:00 in Monaco, 3 witnesses saw 3 white points moving in a clear, bright sky. GEIPAN received only 1 account, describing a prolonged but intermittent observation of several moving lights. The report arrived 1 month later, and the witness did not follow through on a request for an official statement, preventing an investigation. The long duration of 1 hour 30 minutes and slow movements could fit balloons, gulls—which were present in the witness's field of view and which he suggested—or other possibilities, none verifiable. Strangeness is low, and only 1 account is available. GEIPAN classifies the case C for insufficient information.
