On 5 October 2012 at 23:26, a witness watched an orange luminous oval object with wings on either side move silently through the sky for 1 minute. No other account was collected. The investigation lacked exact azimuths and angular elevations for appearance and disappearance, angular measurements, and further detail on estimated altitude, distance and size. These omissions prevent any hypothesis from being preferred. The case is classified C: currently unidentifiable, with too little evidence for a sound assessment. Evidential support is weak: the account lacks precision, detail and essential data, with 1 eyewitness and no photographs or video. Strangeness is low because an ordinary object could explain it, such as a nocturnal bird lit by urban lighting or a military aircraft with its lights off. GEIPAN therefore did not consider a field investigation necessary.
