On 7 February 2013 at 18:40, during an Ariane launch in French Guiana, a witness and his children saw and filmed 3 parallel dark lines standing out clearly low on the horizon. They dissipated shortly afterward. The investigation found that the UAPs looked like straight cast shadows, that similar examples existed, and that the Sun's position supported this interpretation. The case was classified A as a definite observation of shadows produced at dusk when sunlight struck dense areas of the Ariane rocket's condensation trail (see attached report).
