An account received in 2014 describes an earlier sighting on 24 March 2013 at 03:00 or 04:00. A motorist saw a small stationary amber-yellow light in a dark sky, then alerted 2 passengers when it changed shape and moved rapidly in all directions while approaching the car. The driver became frightened. The observation lasted 10–15 minutes before it disappeared. Only 1 account was collected. The description conveys strangeness, as do all reports submitted to GEIPAN to varying degrees. Contact or meetings with witnesses often allow that apparent strangeness to be explained. Here, however, the witness did not respond to a proposed appointment, even after a reminder. GEIPAN classifies the case C: insufficient reliable information.
