On 18 May 2013 at about 22:00, a witness on the 1st floor saw a luminous disc move slowly, then suddenly recede and disappear. Looking down at a disc about half the apparent size of a globe streetlamp suggests a small windborne object. Météociel reports a southerly wind; the witness faced north, and turbulence in the sheltered street is possible. The long Pentecost weekend was conducive to celebrations that might involve lantern releases. A cylinder seen from above would look like the reported disc.
