[D940] DE AUBIGNY-SUR-NERE (18) VERS CHAPELLE-D'ANGILLON (LA) (18) 30.06.2013

On 30 June 2013 at 10:33, a witness in the right rear seat of a car on the D940 from Aubigny-sur-Nère toward La Chapelle-d'Angillon (18) saw a white and gray triangle through the side window. A few seconds later, while the car passed a row of roadside trees, the witness took a smartphone photograph. Only 1 account was collected. GEIPAN finds low strangeness. An optical reflection was proposed from the beginning and shown to be probable; see the investigation report. The evidential basis is moderate, with little usable detail, perhaps because the observation was brief and the witness young. However, the photograph could be analyzed and established the reflection explanation with relative certainty. GEIPAN classifies the case A: optical reflection in a car window.
