On 2 August 2013 at 23:08, a witness and his wife were driving (see map) when they saw 4 red-orange points of light in a clear sky. The lights eventually went out one after another. Meteociel readings indicated a light wind from the west. The source describes the sighting as occurring on a Saturday evening. Lights visible for a few minutes in those circumstances strongly suggested sky lanterns. Given the local layout, the objects were slowly moving away from the witnesses toward the east. GEIPAN classified the case B as a probable sky lantern sighting.
