STRASBOURG (67) 30.08.2013

On 30 August 2013 at about 22:30 in Strasbourg (67), a witness watched a blue point, described as the size of a tennis ball, descend silently on an S-shaped path for about 10 seconds. During its descent it changed from blue to red, green and then yellow, before suddenly going out. GEIPAN lacks precise trajectory information, detailed light and color characteristics, and angular measurements. These gaps prevent it from favoring any hypothesis. The case is classified as C: unidentifiable on the available information, which is insufficient for a sound conclusion. The account has low evidential strength. A sketch exists, but it is imprecise and lacks detail and information essential to further study. Only 1 eyewitness submitted an account, with no photographs or video. The sighting might be moderately unusual, but the gaps prevent a reliable judgment of unusualness.
