Open this case in the interactive AtlasCase description
On Saturday 14 September 2013 between 23:45 and midnight, 2 witnesses saw repeated choreographed movements of white circles in the sky without sound.
GEIPAN considered a skytracer, a searchlight system used at celebrations and nightclubs. A Pézenas nightclub confirmed using one exceptionally that evening for a special event. The witnesses looked south, and Montpellier weather records show clouds that would enhance the display.
The case is classified A: confirmed skytracer light display.
