On 15 September 2013 at 04:00, a woman driving intermittently saw a light, then a dark oval mass with ‘small embedded luminous discs’ pass above her car. No other account was collected. She reported it in May 2014. GEIPAN finds that the appearance fits a helicopter poorly. Nightclub lasers are a reasonable possibility, given the Saturday-to-Sunday night timing, but there is no confirming evidence. The UAP’s nature and origin therefore remain unknown. The case is classified C because information is insufficient to test explanations that fit fairly well. GEIPAN considers the account fairly precise and well supported, although there is only 1 witness and no photograph. Its appearance is unusual, while its movement is ordinary.
