Case description
On Friday 27 September 2013 between 22:15 and 22:30, a witness at home saw successive orange lights pass silently east to west through a cloudy sky.
GEIPAN considers the successive balls on the same horizontal path, matching a steady easterly wind of about 15 km/h recorded by Météociel, characteristic of sky lanterns on a weekend evening. Poor photographs add little information.
The case has low strangeness and is classified B: 2 successive sky lanterns.
