On 28 September 2013 at about 21:00, a witness saw 8 bright red objects cross the sky silently from east to west along the same path. GEIPAN considered that several red shapes following the same path on a Saturday evening strongly suggested a release of sky lanterns. It described their movement as being in the same direction as the wind, reported as coming from the southeast. GEIPAN judged the case to have little strangeness and classified it B: probable sky lanterns.
