On 1 October 2013 at about 21:30, a woman at home in Groisy (74) noticed a light on the horizon. With her partner, she watched it disappear, followed by the rapid passage of 3 flashing lights accompanied by a resonant, aircraft-like sound. GEIPAN rates strangeness moderate and evidence weak, describing a single-witness account and brief observation despite the partner's stated presence. Arcturus followed by a formation of aircraft is possible. However, differing directions in the narrative and sketches, together with unavailable air-traffic information, prevent formal identification.
