MUNSTER (68) 22.10.2013

On 22 October 2013 at 22:40 in Munster (68), a witness looking at a clear sky saw a dark half-dome-shaped object with hanging projections move silently south to north. It vanished into the dark sky in less than 10 seconds, too quickly for a photograph. Based on the questionnaire and interview, GEIPAN classifies the case B: probably a helium-filled ladybird-shaped party balloon that had escaped its owner.
