On 28 October 2013 at 22:50, a woman driving on the D342 in Taluyers saw a red light in her rear-view mirror against a clear sky. At 23:03 she made a second observation on the D63 near the Rosseon sign in Mornant: an orange spherical object with a tail crossed her field of view rapidly through the windscreen. Other people were along the route, but no additional accounts were obtained. GEIPAN assesses the case as moderately unusual and weakly supported by evidence: a single witness, poor-quality testimony and uncertainty about the date. Neither observation is described precisely enough for a definite identification.
