THUEYTS (07) 08.11.2013

On 8 November 2013 at 05:40 in Thueyts (07), a witness lying in bed looked through a window and saw an elongated shape with a flashing light move very slowly southeast across a clear sky. No sound was heard during 15 minutes, and it gradually disappeared. Only 1 account was collected. GEIPAN calls the report very brief and says it lacks descriptions of shape, colour and lighting, despite the introductory reference to an elongated shape and flashing. Strangeness is fairly low: the witness initially thought it an aircraft, with only apparent slowness seeming unusual. The angle of movement relative to him could possibly explain that impression. GEIPAN classifies this case of low strangeness and weak evidential substance C for insufficient information.
