On December 8, 2013, from about 5:15 p.m., several people saw a single bright, spherical-looking light south-southwest in a clear sky. It appeared stationary and remained visible until approximately 8 p.m. GEIPAN's summary identifies Venus, especially bright under the favourable weather conditions, and records classification A. Its closing sentence attributes the classification to 'the witness', an apparent source wording error; the astronomical identification is presented as the archive's assessment.
